Rocking chairs are timeless symbols of relaxation, but somewhere along the way, most modern rockers lost what made them truly special: real, lasting comfort. As a second-generation cabinetmaker and designer, I grew frustrated seeing chairs that looked nice on a porch, but no one wanted to sit in for more than a few minutes. I knew it was time for something better.

That’s why I created the DreamRocker. Tested with hundreds of real people—not just myself—and refined through years of design, this chair brings comfort, support, and relaxation together in a way that honors the legacy of great porch rockers. Knowing “one size fits all” doesn’t really fit anyone, I handcrafted DreamRockers in two proper sizes, so everyone finds their perfect fit. The result is so good it’s been officially endorsed by a licensed Physical Therapist, for its genuine lumbar support and all-day ergonomic comfort.

What Makes the DreamRocker Different?  

Not All “Poly” or HDPE Furniture Is Created Equal.  Be sure to look for the iconic Duck Head so you know you're getting DUX, with Starboard ST and Stainless Steel fasteners!

Most outdoor “poly” furniture is made from recycled or low-grade plastics that fade, crack, or weaken when exposed to sun and weather—sometimes within just a couple of seasons. Ordinary polyethylenes lack essential UV stabilizers, so their color and strength break down rapidly outside. This is well-documented in industry resources like Plastics Technology, which note how standard plastics quickly lose their integrity outdoors unless specially formulated.

That’s why every DreamRocker is built with marine-grade Starboard® HDPE—the same ultra-durable material used by yacht builders and marine professionals.
