The DUX Chaise Lounge XL is a luxury, zero-maintenance outdoor lounger built around the Magic‑Lift Back™—a gas‑spring assisted recline system you won’t find on any other chair. Just pull the lever discreetly tucked under the armrest and the backrest rises smoothly through five positions, from fully flat to upright for reading or conversation, without twisting, reaching, or getting out of the chair. Armrests, a 17" seat height (as opposed to the standard 12" on most lounge chairs), and integrated storage details make it as practical as it is comfortable, while marine‑grade materials mean years of worry‑free use by the pool, dock, or deck. And this one is 6" longer than our Regular Lounger, a full 84", so it will accommodate even your tallest family or friends.

Convenience: Slide‑out tray, and a removable cup/wine glass holder that mount on either armrest. This version also includes an additional phone holder that mounts on either armrest.

The DUX Chaise Lounge was born from one too many frustrating days on resort loungers—awkward to adjust, uncomfortable to sit in, and built to be replaced, not cherished. Drawing on decades of woodworking and furniture design, the goal was simple: build a chaise where the mechanics disappear and the comfort feels intuitive.

At the heart of the design is the Magic‑Lift Back™, a proprietary mechanism that combines a lever under the armrest with twin stainless steel gas pistons. A light pull lifts the back smoothly into position; another pull lets you ease back through five distinct angles, from fully flat sunbathing to upright for poolside reading or conversation. You never have to stand up, reach behind you, or wrestle with clunky ratchets.

Every detail supports real-world use. Armrests and an almost 17" seat height make it easy to get in and out, even for older guests or anyone with limited mobility. A slide‑out tray lives under the seat to keep phones, e‑readers, and valuables shaded and close at hand. Removable accessories—phone holder and cup or wine‑glass holder—mount to either armrest so you can set them up exactly where you want them, or remove them when you don’t. Three integrated towel clips across the backrest keep towels from sliding or bunching, and large wheels with a grab handle let you roll the chaise to chase sun or shade without dragging.

Structurally, the chaise is built from genuine King Starboard® marine‑grade HDPE, the same UV‑stable, weather‑resistant material trusted in saltwater boats, paired with 316 stainless steel fasteners. It will not rot, splinter, peel, or require refinishing, even in coastal environments. There is no need for off‑season storage or covers; routine care is as simple as hosing away salt, pollen, or sunscreen. With multiple frame and slat color combinations—and custom colors available by request—the DUX Chaise Lounge is designed to deliver resort‑level comfort and founder‑built quality in your own outdoor space.

Care and Maintenance:

Routine cleaning: Rinse with a hose, then wipe with mild soap and water. For tougher grime, use a non‑abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth or soft nylon brush. Avoid excessive scrubbing pressure to preserve the matte finish.
Stain removal: For persistent stains, let a diluted bleach solution sit briefly, then rinse thoroughly. Citrus cleaner, isopropyl alcohol, or mineral spirits can help with grease and sunscreen; test in a small area first.
Scratch care: Light surface scuffs can often be minimized with automotive silicone spray or furniture polish; do not use on walking surfaces. Deep gouges are cosmetic and do not affect performance.
No refinishing required: Starboard ST is UV‑stabilized, color‑through material that won’t peel or flake, and it cannot be painted. Keep wood oils (e.g., teak oil) and wood stains away from the surface.
Hardware check: Rinse salt and pollen periodically. Inspect 316 stainless fasteners seasonally; tighten if needed.
Pressure washing: Safe when used at moderate pressure and distance; avoid aggressive tips held close to the surface.
Seasonal care: No storage or sealing required. If storing, keep pieces clean and dry, and avoid heat above 180°F.
General setup: Place on level surfaces to reduce uneven wear on rocker rails or feet. Lift to move—don’t drag across abrasive concrete.
