Rocking chairs are timeless symbols of relaxation, but somewhere along the way, most modern rockers lost what made them truly special: real, lasting comfort. As a second-generation cabinetmaker and designer, I grew frustrated seeing chairs that looked nice on a porch, but no one wanted to sit in for more than a few minutes. I knew it was time for something better.

That’s why I created the DreamRocker. Tested with hundreds of real people—not just myself—and refined through years of design, this chair brings comfort, support, and relaxation together in a way that honors the legacy of great porch rockers. Knowing “one size fits all” doesn’t really fit anyone, I handcrafted DreamRockers in two proper sizes, so everyone finds their perfect fit. The result is so good that they have been officially endorsed by a licensed Physical Therapist, for the therapeutic lumbar support and all-day ergonomic comfort.

What Makes the DreamRocker Different?

Not All “Poly” or HDPE Furniture Is Created Equal

Most outdoor “poly” furniture is made from recycled or low-grade plastics that fade, crack, or weaken when exposed to sun and weather—sometimes within just a couple of seasons. Ordinary polyethylenes lack essential UV stabilizers, so their color and strength break down rapidly outside. This is well-documented in industry resources like Plastics Technology, which note how standard plastics quickly lose their integrity outdoors unless specially formulated.

That’s why every DreamRocker is built with marine-grade Starboard ST® HDPE (High Density Polyethylene)—the same ultra-durable material used by yacht builders and marine professionals.
